Strathcona Community Health Network

Table of Partners: Call for Membership

Are you actively engaged in community building and
social and/or health issues in the Strathcona region?

The Strathcona Community Health Network (SCHN) will work collaboratively at a systems level to address the social determinants of health within the Strathcona region to improve the health and wellness of the population. Priority action areas identified through preliminary community forums include: transportation, employment and education, homelessness and housing, children & youth mental health, food security, aging in place, First Nations inclusion.

The SCHN Table of Partners will provide a mechanism to engage, mobilize and leverage action beyond what one community, organization or individual can achieve alone. It helps drive the direction for action taken by the network.

The 12 member Table of Partners will commit to realizing the vision of the SCHN as defined by the people who live and work within the region by making decisions and being accountable for the network outcomes. The Table of Partners will represent, and validate their understanding of what makes people healthy living within the region, while providing a culturally safe space for people and their communities to participate.

Individuals are invited to apply for membership on the Table of Partners. If you don’t want to be part of the Table of Partners, there may be other ways to get involved through action tables, and sub-committee opportunities. Please send an email introducing yourself and your interest in the Strathcona Community Health Network to .
